Lyna Galliara's video: Fun with an Argos keyboard

The story behind the track is basically that one night I wondered if I could make some music using the extremely tacky rhythms on a tiny electronic keyboard (pictured) which I'd spotted in an Argos shop window for £1 and bought out of morbid curiosity. (I'm sure all you music tech gurus out there will be familiar with this high calibre model ;-) ) I recorded a clip of the 'New Age' rhythm, looped this and sploshed some music (which I programmed in using other software) on top. It was just a bit of fun rushed in one evening which I should have spent working on something else! Haven't mixed it other than quickly tweaking levels, and adding some compression, there's no EQ as you can tell! I deliberately left the keyboard sticking out like a sore thumb in the mix, no attempt to blend it in, as otherwise the whole point of trying to exploit the tackiness of it all would be gone..but yeah, on second listen, i'm not sure why i spent 3 hours of my life on this, it's just a very weird piece of music.
