This was by far was my favorite trip and now Yangshuo is one of my favorite places on earth! We took a boat ride 52 miles up the Li River that was filled with such breath taking scenery. I had some crickets when we got to town. We went to the Impression of Liu Sanjie, which was a show on the Li River. Zhang Yimou, who directed the famous opening ceremony to the Beijing Olympics also produced this show! We took a cooking class and I was also able to go to the Silver Cave which is filled with stalactites.
