The twist ending for the lost classic slasher horror film "BLOOD BOND" from 1979! When Simon is lead by the trail of death right to his sister's side to find she was the killer all along, trying to pick off anyone in the way of her inheritance of the family fortune!... but there's more twist where that came from!!! -- A vintage horror cut! Filmed / Directed / Edited by Mykee Morettini- *I was inspired by all the slasher classics, mostly "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME" (1981) and "SLEEPAWAY CAMP" (1983) where there was a twist ending with a hard cut to credits and some sort of macabre "ending tune" - so I decided to pay homage to all the 70s and 80s slasher classics and create a spoof "ending" to a "fake b-movie". I shot with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with a vintage Pentax-K zoom lens which gives it a nice authentic "vintage cinematic" look. I graded in Premiere with Lumetri and used various "film grain overlays" from a collection to make the scratches and pops look more realistic. This was shot in my apartment which we decorated for the scene in-between shots. I used Kate Bush's 1978 track "Fullhouse" because as a big fan of hers, I always got distinct feelings of "horror movie closing credits music" when I listened to it initially, and it also reminded me of the type of eerie music that would play in older horror classics at the end. I initially had a whole fake end credits bit but Premiere was having render issues so I just uploaded it as-is.
