Evolving over the years into one of Texas' most prolific, warm, and insightful songwriters, Owen Temple recently followed up a string of albums ranging from honky-tonk to heartland rock to back-porch acoustic folk with "Stories They Tell." His most ambitious record to date, it flows through corners of history, philosophy, and Temple's own personality with a knowing and adventurous kind of grace. A frequent headliner at venues across Texas with an occasional nationwide swing, and a highly sought-after collaborator among his fellow musicians, Temple was kind enough to make time for the Gibson Texas Backroom Bootlegs and sing "Signs" at the August 2013 edition of the event.
