The Collins Autotune Memory system allowed the transmitter to operate on any of 11 preset Shortwave or Medium Wave Frequencies from a flick of a switch the cockpit. This included all settings including antenna tuning. Not bad for the early 1940's. Hams would get this technology eventually.
