Östra Stranden: Östra Stranden beach runs parallel to Kattegattleden south of Halmstad and is the nearest beach for Halmstad’s residents. It has retained much of its historic atmosphere, with bathing huts nestling in the dunes. The beach is shallow and easily accessible. There are restaurants and ice cream kiosks plus play areas, and in the far south by the mouth of the Fylleån river there is a nature reserve and a nudist beach (Halmstad’s official nudist beach). The beach is partly adapted for disabled users (disabled toilets).
