MJW DRONES4all's video: Vintage 1940s TYPE M Refrigeration Compressor Open drive

Here is an old open type refrigeration compressor and motor from the 1940s that I pulled out of the weeds. Type M is the only thing on the compressor that indicates its make, the base has tag methyl chloride model FW100..... I'm running on R409 as R12 replaced methyl chloride back in the 1950s. Just simulating pressures with gages suction is 40 PSI and discharge at 250 PSI motor is pulling 18 amps at 120 volt is a 1.5 HP induction start. Noise in the back ground is of diesel generator. Goes to show Made in USA stuff from 1940s still works after sitting for 40 years try that with made in CHINA (they do make a nice IPAD however) I have found little about this compressor on the WEB if you have any more info i will post to this video.
