PART I of 4 The 8K is an electric locomotive developed and built in France by Alstom and is still used in China today. Between 1987 and 1989, 150 locomotives were produced. The design of 8K is based on SNCF class BB 15000 electric locomotives. 8K Electric Locomotive is an eight-axle double-housing locomotive (similar to the BLS Ae 8/) and is mainly used as a heavy cargo electric locomotive. In China, she has received the loving nickname call "French Orange". With the K8 as an H0 model made of metal, a beautiful model with many details was created. The double motor locomotive (Canon engines) runs very finely and with the ESU LokSound many light and sound functions are applied. Although the locomotive has no adhesive tires, it copes with my 33 per mille incline a little strained but without a problem.
