MSK Chess's video: Chess lesson: The dreaded Isolated Queen Pawn

@Chess lesson: The dreaded Isolated Queen Pawn!
A Grandmaster chess game illustrating the ideas of how to play with and against the dreaded isolated Queen pawn. Played in 2004 between Gm Jacob Aagaard and GM Spyridon Skembris. white goes into an interesting version of the Caro Cann with 2.c4 a variation which is known to result in an isolated Queen pawn. White will use the extra space as an anchor for his piece sand to launch a timely king-side attack utilizing the extra space that the pawn bestows upon him,. Black hopes to prevent the isolated pawn from advancing and inducing white to exchange his more active pieces for blacks relatively static and passive prices. White will avoid exchanges and aim everything at the black King and to try to open lines towards the black king when the time is right. A very interesting and instructive battle ensued and its my hope that you find it interesting as well as instructive.
