The December 2020 Arena Open is a short duration, high skill cap, competitive event aiming at giving players ways to compete from home without grinding for qualification*. This is a 2-day competition providing ways to win significant rewards and is the first of its kind to award cash prizes up to $2000! It is also a great first experience into competitive Magic and is much less intimidating than a large in person event. Play at your own pace. You get to control the pace and intensity of your play experience, right from the comfort of your own home. You can take break as needed between matches to stay hydrated, use the restroom, or step away if you begin to tilt. Choose how you want to play. Day 1 structure will be players choice between Bo1 or Bo3. Dive into the action on day 1 of the Arena Open on December 12th, 2020. The format is Historic Constructed with the players choice of best of one (Bo1) or best of three (Bo3) on day 1. Day 2 will be Traditional Historic Bo3. *Must be 18 years or older to participate.
