We are honored tonight to have on our show a legendary nutritionist, historian, scholar, and published author. David "Imhotep" Jones will share his amazing stories of being Muhammed Ali's nutritionist in various fights and the difference nutrition makes in our lives. He will also share with us the ancient mysteries about the island of Bimini and the Atlantean ruins found in the shallow waters. Bio. for DAVID IMHOTEP Ph.D. Ph.D. David Imhotep is David Jones’ African name. His legal name is David C. Jones. He completed his undergraduate studies while on a football scholarship at the University of Maryland and holds a Masters of Science Degree in both Science and Computer Education from Nova University. After attaining his first Ph.D. in nutrition from Donsbach University, David opened D.I.N.E. (David Imhotep Nutritional Enterprises). He had a nutrition show on WMBM radio in Miami for two years, and wrote a column in the Miami Times newspaper, “Health is Wealth” while appearing on three Television Talk shows. Dr. Imhotep had several famous clients, the most famous being Muhammad Ali for his last six fights. He has been featured in seven newspapers and two magazines. After Ali’s death mastering the field of nutrition David turned his attention to a new challenge. He now holds the first Ph.D specializing in ancient African history from Union University in Cincinnati, Ohio which he received in 2007. He served as: President of the Egyptology Society of Miami at the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium for five years. David was a member and consultant of the Dade County Public Schools Multicultural Board of Miami, and he was the founder of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations (ASCAC)--Miami Chapter--established in 1991. David was the coordinator for Dade County’s 500 African Role Model Program for inner city children at Ponce de Leon Junior High School where he gave African history lectures to the students. Two of Dr. Imhotep’s favored places to lecture in Miami were at the Juvenile Justice Detention Center and the Dade County Jail for adult inmates. Building self-esteem and race-esteem is an important part of rehabilitation. One of Dr. Imhotep’s primary reasons for wanting a Ph.D. in ancient African history was so he would have the credentials to fight White Supremacy in academia. David’s first attack on White Supremacy in academia has begun with a few editorial rebuttals to a Eurocentric articles that appeared in Atlantis Rising Magazine, issues . , and as well as a a six page rebuttal to National Geographic’s, “The Black Pharaohs” in the February, 2008 issue. This article corrected them on the African ancestry of all Pharaohs until the Greek Ptolemies. His latest completed work is an article on the “African Aqualithic just accepted by the “Journal of Black Studies,” and the video can now be seen on “U-Tube.” Dr. Imhotep’s first book was, “The First Americans Were Africans.” He is currently transforming his dissertation into a popular book form. David’s is widely respected as an outstanding author/researcher, Afrotologist, and is well known for his impressive and enlightening slide-lecture seminars on Ancient African Civilizations. He has 11 different subjects on ancient African history from which to choose. David has been researching and collecting information on Black history since 1970. In doing so, he has traveled to Egypt, Nubia, Central America, Hawaii, and Europe. Dr. Imhotep has been invited as guest lecturer by many organizations and schools in and outside the United States. The second guest will be Bro. Muhammed Bey sharing additional insights into Moorish Law pertaining to freedom from corporate enslavement.
