Maine Railfan's video: HD Rare Chasing Pan Am Railways Wreck train in April snow 4 8 19

On March 29th 2019, Pan Am Railways train MAWA derailed in Enfield, ME. Around 5+ cars derailed in the middle of the train, stranding 30+ cars on the east end, and 30 cars on the west end of the derailment. NBSR sent GP40N 3052 to pull the cars to Mattawamkeg from the east side of the derailment, but it took 2 days to get to the derailment due to a section of track coming out of alignment, and a stretch which was tore up by the last car on the train, which rerailed its self. The trains power took the rest to NMJ, while a mobile crane picked up all but 3 cars, which were loaded paper cars, and were beyond it's capacity. So after sitting for years out of service, Pan Am sent it's Waterville wreck train as "Wreck extra 519". They would meet C&E extra 316 with WANM's power (316-511-3401) at Pittsfield. The wreck extra would pass, and then the C&E extra would back onto the main, and proceed west due to stored cars on the siding. WAMA/MAWA were abolished and replaced by WANM/NMWA due to the tracks being torn up. The two trains were planned to be fazed out anyway on April 15th, due to decreasing car counts. Cars now go on WANM to NMJ, and then go over CMQ to NBSR. The late April snow made for a interesting couple of shots!
