Maine Railfan's video: HD Rare Pan Am Railways Plow Extra 344 1 21 19 and 1 23 19

Due to heavy snow on 1/20/19 Pan Am called out a plow extra for the following day, since 2+ feet of snow was expected. The storm ended up taking a diffrent track, and the last 2 inches was made up of sleet, which packed the wet snow down, and then tempetures dropped resulting in ice. Pan Am decided to still run the plow train to Mattawamkeg to clear the line. I caught them at Pittsfield, Detroit, Newport, E. Newport, Etna, and Carmel. Note the 383 was trail only, so the crew was in the 344. Then on the 23rd I caught the return trip at Benton, and then Fairfield, ME. Sadly the plows were sandwiched between the two units since there was no need to plow on the return trip, so Pan Am decided it was better to just haul them, rather than have them lead, and then have to pay a MOW employee to ride in it.
