Vinland Saga Episode 1 Differences - Anime vs Manga With Vinland Saga airing this season and with my prior knowledge of the manga I wanted to make a video dedicated to the differences from the manga vs the anime. So in this video, I will be discussing Vinland Saga Episode 1 Differences Anime vs Manga! A comparison from the show to the original source material. Overall, there were not to many differences within this episode that were changed but instead expanded upon the story, giving Makoto Yukimura's Viking tale more life to it's characters. As a manga reader I was very impressed by this adaptation and it's presentation of Viking lore by Production I.G. and Wit Studio. I can't wait to see everyone's reactions to the story that will unfold in this series as it is one of my personal favorite manga series.
