"You guys cuddled!?!" Kristina asked Allie later that night. They were sitting on Allie's back porch, watching the sun set. "Haha yes!" Allie smiled. "He told me I was beautiful." "Oh my god Al, he's falling for you!" Kristina shrieked. "Oh no he's not. Nat's just that kind of guy. I bet he tells all his girl friends that." "Umm, he's never said that to me." Kristina mentioned. "Oh....uh....just shut up!" Allie blushed. Her phone buzzed and Kristina grabbed it before Allie could get to it. "Kris, give it to me." "Oh my god..." Kristina gasped, reading the message again. "What?!" Allie asked, getting up from her chair and sitting on Kristina's lap. She grabbed the phone from her best friend's hand. Nat: hey beautiful. I wanna talk. Meet me at the beach. In front of lifeguard post 12. at 10. "Allie, this is it!" Kristina screamed, giving her a huge hug. "Oh god, its 10 right now! I got to go meet him." Allie said, shooting up from her seat. She ran down the steps and down the beach. "Good luck love!" Kristina yelled to her. Allie turned around and gave her a thumbs up. When she got to the lifeguard post, Nat was sitting on the stairs. He smiled when he saw Allie. "Hey!" He said, getting up. "Hi." She smiled, breathing hard. "You okay? You look a little outta breath." "Oh, I'm fine. So what's up?" Allie asked. "Uhm... wanna go for a walk? I feel like people are watching us." Nat said, motioning towards a few young girls looking out the window of a nearby beach house. "Yeah sure, let's go." Allie said. They started walking down the beach, opposite direction of Allie's house. They walked in silence for a few minutes, neither of them knowing what to say. Their hands brushed together and interlocked, neither of them saying a world. "Allie, I love you." Nat blurted out. Allie looked at him in surprise. "I love you too Nat." She smiled. "No, I mean I'm in love with you. You're the one Al. And I don't wanna waste anymore time playing around. Will you be my girlfriend?" Nat said, stopping and pulling her towards him. He pointed towards the ground, where a ring was partially buried in the sand. She smiled at him and picked it up. "For me?" She asked. He nodded and took it from her hand and slid it on her finger. She smiled up at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. He pulled her in close to him and put his arms around her. They both leaned in and kiss for awhile. They pulled apart and hugged. "Is that a yes?" Nat whispered. "That's a for sure." She grinned. They started to walk towards Allie's house hand in hand. Nat noticed Allie shivering and he took off his sweatshirt and gave it to her. She quickly slid it on and leaned against Nat. He put his arm around her and they stopped walking when they were in front of Allie's house. "So, I'll see you tomorrow?" Nat asked her. "Yes you will." Allie smiled. "I'll call you." "Not if I call you first." Nat told her. They leaned in for one more kiss before Allie ran inside.
