Leila Ouahabi uses her tattoos to discuss her life on and off the pitch. A key figure for Gareth Taylor’s side, the left-back has been a crucial component in City’s defensive setup across the current campaign. Indeed, Ouahabi and co. boast the best defensive record in the entire Barclays Women’s Super League, conceding just eight times so far while also keeping clean sheets in five of our last six matches in all competitions. Lifting silverware would mark a significant moment in her career so far, but the Spaniard also chats about her life away from football, including the close bond she has with her sister and niece. They’re celebrated with a beautiful design on Ouahabi’s forearm, close to a butterfly which she shares with her former Barcelona team-mate and close friend Patricia Guijarro to commemorate her UEFA Champions League triumph in 2021.
