ManWithNoExpression's video: The Hollies - Just One Look Doris Troy - Guitar Cover

@The Hollies - Just One Look (Doris Troy) - Guitar Cover
This song was the Hollies' fourth single, recorded on 27 January 1964 and released in February 1964. Just One Look made it to No. 2 on the Record Retailer chart in the UK in April 1964. This was the second song by Doris Troy (also called Doris Payne), following their cover of "Whatcha Gonna Do 'bout It?" on their first album, Stay With The Hollies. Just One Look was one of the songs played by the Hollies at the 1964 NME Poll Winners Concert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-RJF8dIJDo I believe Tony is using his Fender Jazzmaster on this song, especially given that it was recorded the same day as Candy Man. I've used a Fender Squier Strat, which I panned to the left on top of Tony's guitar. There is definitely an acoustic guitar on this song, most likely played by Graham on the Epiphone acoustic he uses in the promo video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWNeUTFSmnc I put my acoustic in the center, with the song audio panned to the right. The current request list is as follows: The Hollies - Crusader The Beatles - She Said She Said The Hollies – I Can’t Let Go The Beatles – A Hard Day’s Night The Zombies – She Does Everything For Me The Zombies – You Make Me Feel Good The Hollies – I’m Alive The Beatles – What You’re Doing The Rolling Stones - The Last Time The Hollies - You Must Believe Me The Hollies - King Midas In Reverse Feel free to comment your song requests, and to ask any questions you have about chords or notes. Thanks for watching!
