This song was the Hollies' fourth single, recorded on 27 January 1964 and released in February 1964. Just One Look made it to No. 2 on the Record Retailer chart in the UK in April 1964. This was the second song by Doris Troy (also called Doris Payne), following their cover of "Whatcha Gonna Do 'bout It?" on their first album, Stay With The Hollies.
