ManWithNoExpression's video: The Hollies - Crusader - Guitar Cover

@The Hollies - Crusader - Guitar Cover
This song is the tenth track off of the Hollies’ fifth album, For Certain Because. It was recorded on 23 & 24 August 1966, along with Clown and It’s You, and the album was released on 9 December 1966. This was the first Hollies’ album to feature all originals. Crusader is one of the first Hollies’ songs to feature an Acoustic 12 string, which is most likely the Vox Folk Twelve which can often be found in Graham’s hands in photos. I am using a 70s’ Vox Folk Twelve here. I believe there are four different guitar tracks on this song, including the main guitar track on a 6 string, 2 12 string tracks during the intro which then repeat the same part during the instrumental break halfway through the song. One of them continues on during a solo part, along with a second 6 string. This second 6 string is also used to play 3 notes twice during the intro and break. My main 6 string is panned to the left. The 12 strings on the top and bottom are panned to the left and right, respectively. The second 6 string is panned to the right. I’ve also added the tambourine, which is panned to the far right. The current request list is as follows: The Beatles - She Said She Said The Hollies – I Can’t Let Go The Beatles – A Hard Day’s Night The Zombies – She Does Everything For Me The Zombies – You Make Me Feel Good The Hollies – I’m Alive The Beatles – What You’re Doing The Rolling Stones - The Last Time The Hollies - You Must Believe Me The Hollies - King Midas In Reverse The Beatles - The Night Before The Beatles – Thank You Girl Feel free to comment your song requests, and to ask any questions you have about chords or notes. Thanks for watching!
