Manitoba Wildlife Federation's video: Wildlife Surveys Volunteer Opportunity

@Wildlife Surveys Volunteer Opportunity
The province of Manitoba is looking for volunteers to conduct sharp-tailed grouse lek surveys this spring. Lek surveys are one of the primary tools being used to assess habitat quality throughout the course of the Wildlife Management Area Enhancement Initiative Pilot Projects. While project surveys are being conducted by species at risk biologists, the province is in need of volunteer support for conducting lek surveys across the province this spring. Surveys will be taking place from April 15th – May 15th. If you are looking to get involved or have any questions regarding lek surveys, contact Manitoba’s species at risk biologist Timothy Poole via email at: timothy.poole@gov.mb.ca
