This past Monday, City Council voted to request city staff to find a new LRT route north of Steeles for the purpose of submitting it to the province for reconsideration. After one of the most debated and publicized issues in our city’s history, it's peculiar why an important motion such as this was added to the agenda at the last second. Unless those Councillors who supported this motion are counting on hard working Brampton taxpayers to pick up potentially hundreds of millions in construction costs, Dhillon believe this merely confuses residents into believing that a legitimate solution is possible. The reality is that on October 27th these Councillors quashed any chance for a fully funded LRT for Brampton. I
