8 places in mountain area of Taoyuan City 📌Daxi Bridge(大溪橋) Featuring Baroque-style engravings and vintage arches, Daxi Bridge is an elegant structure that connects to the century-old Daxi old street. At dusk, the bridge is lit with sparks of light and a glamorous light show. It is especially favored by couples and photographers for the romantic view at night. The reconstructed Daxi Bridge resembles its predecessor, Daxi Historic Suspension Bridge built in the Japanese colonial rule. The new bridge is known especially for the spectacular scenery of Daxi River. 📌Xiao Wulai Waterfall (小烏來瀑布) Xiao Wulai Waterfall or Little Wulai Waterfall (小烏來瀑布) is a waterfall in Fuxing District, Taoyuan, Taiwan. The height of the waterfall is around 55 meters. The waterfall is often confused with the Wulai Waterfall of New Taipei City. Entrance fee: NT50 📌Longfeng waterfall Longfeng Waterfall (龍鳳瀑布 ) is a small waterfall in Taoyuan, Fuxing District (桃園市復興區). It's only a five minute walk from the top of Xiaowulai Waterfall. 📌Tiemu Waterfall (鐵木瀑布) Tie-Mu Waterfall (鐵木瀑布) which translates literally as "Iron Wood Waterfall" is a beautiful waterfall in Taoyuan's mountainous Fuxing Village (復興鄉) in an area between the popular Dongyanshan Forest Park (東眼山森林遊樂區) and Xiao Wulai Waterfall (小烏來瀑布) and makes for an excellent side trip if you're in the area or even an excellent place to escape the hot summer heat for a swim in a chilly mountain river.  The waterfall is a part of Xiayun River (霞雲溪), an important river that finds its source high in the mountains in an area between Dongyanshan (東眼山) in Taoyuan county and Manyueyuan (滿月圓) in New Taipei City. The river flows down into Taoyuan and eventually merges with the much larger Dahan River (大漢溪) a few kilometres away from the waterfall and ultimately flows into Taoyuan's Shimen Reservoir (石門水庫).  📌Sanmin Bat Cave (三民蝙蝠洞) The Sanmin Bat Cave (三民蝙蝠洞) is a really large cave here in the mountains of Taoyuan county. While it doesn't actually boast any bats (or a batman) it is impressively large and it has a nice little waterfall next to it. The massive cave has a height of 20 meters, a width of 50 meters and is about 20 meters deep. The area inside the cave seems expansive and it is estimated that over a thousand people could fit inside. You may even notice while standing inside the cave that the shape out of the mouth looks a little bit like the shape of Taiwan. 📌Senlin Waterfront Landscape Cafe (森鄰水岸景觀咖啡館) Senlin Waterfront Landscape Cafe sitting on the highest point of Jiaoban Mountain, offering a bird’s-eye view of Dahan. At the bend of the stream, overlooking the Xinxikou Suspension Bridge in the distance, the cherry blossoms on the mountain are even more beautiful during the cherry blossom season. The food and scenery are all five stars, which makes people want to visit again. 📌Xikou Suspension Bridge (新溪口吊橋) Xikou Suspension Bridge is a slender, elegant suspension bridge with over 40 years of history. Standing at the center of the suspension bridge allows you to see the beautiful Dahan River valley and the rich storage of water in the reservoir. However, since the original bridge was old, a new Xikou suspension bridge has been built at the original site. The new bridge spans 303 meters. When walking on the bridge, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Dahan River and the surrounding mountains.
