Marco Buch's video: Saint Lucia - A Caribbean paradise: Beaches rainforest volcanoes and a whole lot of luxury

Saint Lucia is an island and a country in the Caribbean and it is beautiful! Stunning beaches, lush rainforest, two iconic cold volcanoes (the so-called Pitons) and many luxurious hotels. Let me take you around the island and tell you everything you need to see and experience while in Saint Lucia. In the end of my video I will also recommend the most stunning accommodations and hotels I got to see. Start your trip to Saint Lucia in its capital Castries. Walk around and look at the colorful wooden houses as well as the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Then make sure to visit Castries Market. Check out the street art in Castries, the most famous street artist is Sakey (@sakeyproductions). Drive up the hill to see the Saint Lucia Government Building and the amazing Pink Plantation House, hosting the art of Michelle Elliott. Then move on to Rodney Bay, it has the longest and one of the prettiest beaches in Saint Lucia. The marina is also worth a visit. But even better: Pigeon Island for some stunning views. End the day at the street party called Friday Night Jump-Up in Gros Islet. Then continue to Marigot Bay where you should definitely go for some kayaking in the Caribbean. Stop in some traditional fishing villages like Anse La Raye and whitness the daily life. Make sure to also take a look at Soufrière, the former capital of Saint Lucia. Now you are close to the Pitons, the cold volcanoes which give Saint Lucia its look. On the easy hike Tet Paul Stairway to Heaven you will get great views of the Gros Piton! Take a cooking class at the Emerald Farm and visit the cocoa plantation 'Project Chocolat' where you should do the tour 'Tree to bar'. You will learn everything about the cocoa plant and its processing, and you will be able to make your own chocolate bar! Also go on a sunset cruise on a sailing boat.
