What a week it has been for SpaceX and NASA making history with Crew 1, taking 4 astronauts to the International Space Station and setting a bunch of new milestones in the process. SpaceX Starship prepares for flight with SN8 and SN9 is now close to completion. Rocketlab had their sixteenth launch putting 30 small satellites into orbit as well as recovering the first stage. The European Space Agency launched a Vega rocket with a $373 million dollar payload. Sadly there was an unfortunate development during the mission which we’ll talk about. And finally Hayabusa2’s asteroid sample return part of the mission draws to an imminent conclusion with Australia playing a role in recovery operations.
