THANK YOU FOR THE +260 SUBS, Y'ALL! :D Since Christmas of 2014, I have been working on this piece, which would be my favorite if it hadn't taken FOREVER to record, edit, re-record, edit, etc; seriously, the attempts to finish this is OVER 9,000!!!! The pictures and the narration at the beginning and the end is from the end of Dante's Paradiso, where he is describing his ecstatic joy at reaching the innermost circle of Heaven. I wanted this song to convey the majesty and glory of a soul entering Heaven, and to be met by the mighty hosts of angels and eventually reach the throne of God. I think Heaven has an empire of glorious angels rather than having naked cherubs floating about the clouds, as pop culture has so often portrayed heaven. If God is the king of the universe, wouldn't he have an epic army of bad-butt angels surrounding his throne and singing of his glory and awesomeness? ;) I hope you guys enjoy this, and keep your eyes open for some new covers and...maybe even a duet...*oooooooh* The lyrics are my arrangement of the Gloria, which are posted below.
