Brig. Anwar Khan SJ 1948 - 2023 Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raajiun Abu left us on 29th Ramadan, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be remembered. Throughout his illustrious military career, Abu received numerous awards for gallantry, including the Distinguished Sitara e Jurat for exceptional Bravery in 1971 war. He was widely respected by his colleagues and subordinates for his bravery, leadership, and unwavering dedication to his duty. Outside of his military service, Abu led a remarkable family life. A devoted husband, a loving and caring father to his four children. Despite the many challenges that come with being an Army officer, Abu always made sure that his family remained his top priority. He was a deeply Caring and Shafeeq husband and father, and we will always remember him for his love and devotion. His final journey was made even more special by Pak Army by honouring him with State funeral. He made us proud all his life and kept on doing the same even after his death.
