Below was our initial excitement and happiness to share with you - I didn't want to change it as Convivio deserves every bit of excitement there is. But we needed to wait in respect of what happened. We will rise up but we will not forget. ----- Original Introduction: I am very happy to share with you this vlog where I am visiting a very special place. I love the products (and some I love were added after I shot at their premises) and even more, I love their founders. More below :) Convivio was founded by 3 sisters back in 2010. They came from different professional backgrounds. The eldest (who is the founder) had been always working in the Horeca business. After leaving the Gulf, she came back to Lebanon to establish a company for tableware supplies for 5 star hotels and fine dining restaurants. She was joined by her second sister who lived in Europe and worked as a retail manager for a prestigious Gourmet and gift item boutique specialized in the world of wines, cigars, condiments and high end gifts. Then they were joined by their junior sister who had a background of media, management, and holistic specialization. As a result of the late economic situation and pandemic, they decided that giving up is not an option! So, they decided to divide the tasks according to their passion: the eldest bakes sourdough bread, the middle sister specializes in selling local wines, alcoholic beverages, olive oil and condiments; while the youngest specializes in dried herbs and in particular sage smudges. But above all, they insisted to encourage their mother to sell her famous family kept secret of Zaatar mix. In addition to encourage the sales and exposure of local products as mentioned strictly made in Lebanon. Little did they know that their passion was their new way of living in Lebanon. It will surely work.
