Marijke Violin's video: Violin girl plays theme songs for cosplayers DUTCH COMIC CON 2019

Saturday, November 23rd, I went to Dutch Comic Con, casually dressed up as Ariel, and I brought my violin with me! In the weeks before, I had been practicing and memorizing over 15 theme song tunes from various movies and games. On the con floor, I surprised cosplayers by playing them the theme song of their cosplay character. ^_^ Memorizing the theme songs wasn't the hardest part. Remembering how to play them right in front of all those people was the real challenge! Sure I messed up often enough, but I really enjoyed doing this and I got tons of happy responses from everyone. :-) I hope you enjoy this video! -Marijke Instagram: @marijke.plays -------------------------------------- And in case you're wondering what that black thing on my waist is: that's my microphone. :-P I used a ZOOM H1n recorder to record my violin playing. It was impossible not to use a microphone, because of all the background noise. It works on batteries, so there was no fuss with cables and such. I put the recorder in a tool holder I bought at the hardware store and I clipped it onto the band of my shorts.
