Marina Pacowski: Piano, voice (s), conception Andy Waddell: Guitar (s) Part 2: Variation on Chopin’s prelude op28 " Creation is the principle of life and music is life!” I had this project in mind since a long time and I guess it just needed these times of isolation to find a path and comes to life! I love all the great composers from the classical piano repertoire! I always loved and had the need to improvise with my voice, to add harmonies ( I grew up in a musical family and my dad always singing harmonies with his clarinet in a New Orleans band! ). So, Just for the sake of being alive and keep create and re-create, and as used to do Frederic Chopin when he would improvise at his piano, and until the wee hours, on his own compositions, I let the course of my imagination free and give some different spaces and colors to Chopin’s wonderful prelude. I am very grateful to guitarist Andy Waddell for joining me to this project and nurture the texture with his guitar so we both offer a new vision, a modern sound and rebirth to this gem of the romantic classical repertoire.
