Marja's video: Pirates of the Caribbean: Up is Down for Flute Ensemble

I don't think there's a soundtrack of PotC that I don't love, but this one in particular always cheers me up. I personally believe PotC is one of Hans Zimmers best works, even though the soundtracks might sound "simple". Up is Down is a really bombastic soundtrack filled with brass and rhythmic elements. It was quite challenging to arrange this track for flute ensemble, since flutes are not really made for that kind of sound. However, I think it works, especially with the lower flutes. This track also really lends itself for tricky, rhythmic passages and fiddly melodies, which is ideal for the flute (among other instruments of course!). Let me know if the background video is too distracting! I wanted to add the scene to elevate the overall quality of the video as I did with my video on Romantic Flight.
