Makes 20 Rissoles Ingredients 2lb/1kg Beef mince 1 ½ cups of grated carrot 1 onion finely chopped 3 cloves of garlic crushed ½ tbs of Worcestershire sauce (optional) 1 egg 1 small bunch of fresh thyme or 1 tsp of dried 1 tsp of cumin powder ½ tsp of chili powder or 2 tsp of paprika 1 tsp salt Pepper to taste Directions In large bowl place all ingredients and mix until well combined (don’t over work ). Take one handful of mince and make into a rissole place back in fridge for 20 -30 minutes. If storing for later in freezer wrap individually in plastic wrap and freeze. Cook rissoles in a very hot frying pan for 3 minutes on each side. Rest the rissoles for a few minutes before serving. Get the kids involved in making them they will enjoy the mixing process!
