Mark Erdwin's video: PIKE ATTACKS SMALL GINGER CRANK - Video 178

You join me out on a small river lure fishing for pike ( yes he's out casting a lure what's going on??? haha). I am not someone whom lure fishes a lot guys despite owning quite a reasonable amount of lures and I do get asked a lot nearly every year "How about more pike fishing videos Mark". Can I please ask any of you regular lure anglers for some constructive criticism and advice. Please do post some comments down below regarding recommended retrieve speeds and actions suggested for the lure that I started off with during the trip, which was a Savage Gear 4D Trout rattle shad in albino pattern. As I say I am not someone whom does a whole lot of lure fishing but it does suit my style of swim hopping that I already do for other species. Thanks for any advice in advance from any of you lure aficionados, as any advice will be greatly appreciated as I'm mainly a bait angler in general. Also in this video I am using Savage gear regenerator traces (25kilo) and I know that using flourocarbon trace is a contentious issue so I am willing to go heavier on the flouro traces if need be or indeed switch to wire trace.
