Mark Sinacori's video: Will Corona Virus Halt Hollywood Audience and Extra Work

@Will Corona Virus Halt Hollywood Audience and Extra Work?
I Think Audiences, Extras, Audience Pages/Coordinators, PA’s and Audience Warm-Ups might be done for good or at least until they come out with a cure for the if not there could be more risk at getting sick and deaths. I worked several of these areas (pretty much we are lowest level and replaceable or “at will”,) but I cherished any role or job/gig I got and always had given my all and had amazing memories. Does Hollywood really want to chance productions by allowing cattle calls or audiences once the stay at home ban is lifted? Will they do away with them until 2021/2022 like some posts are suggesting how long we should social distance ourselves? I feel I left Los Angeles and Hollywood at the right time that I did on July 3, 2019, lots of areas I worked in will most likely stay closed now, or be very limited or restrict for people’s safety. Even if they have set medics who test everyone it can take hours for that with cattle calls and audiences...also, if anyone signs something stating they are fine, how do they know they are or are they sick and don’t know it/want to lie just to be part of the production or audience? Sitcoms can easily take and throw in a laugh track. Game shows, reality shows, and talk shows can just focus on the stage and not where the audience used to be. Eliminating all audiences would save money for productions and it’s the safest way to go right now. Hopefully things get better and there’s a cure and slowly things can start up again. If they start up for the sake of workers and fans that’s ludicrous, everyone needs to remember people are dying and there is no cure yet for this and visitors to LA are from everywhere. Everyone is irreplaceable and amazing, not just the high ups and the celebs...everyone is in this together. I have lots of friends still in the business.
