In the plain and simple box was the 7.5 x 2 x 1.5 inches 13 oz aluminium alloy flashlight itself, a preinstalled 26650 5000 mAh rechargeable battery, a USB-C charging cable, a battery adapter tube, and a prefitted wrist lanyard. No User Guide was included, which is a pity. The build quality of everything included seems first-rate, heavy duty and clearly built to last. On the front is the backlit battery status screen and control button, on the other side the grommett protected bay for the USB-C charging port and the USB-A power out port. The flashlight is powered by a single 26650 Polymer battery which can be removed from the torch for external charging or exchange. Replacement batteries can be found easily enough online for around £8 each. The battery takes around two hours to charge using the USB-C port on the side of the torch with the backlit screen showing the charging level. Operation could not be simpler. Press the control button to scroll through the three brightness and two flashing modes. Push and pull the torch lens to zoom in and out. The torch also works as a power bank and should be able to charge a smartphone or other external devices at least once using the USB output port. The charging level output seems good and high and so should charge the phone reasonably swiftly. Another feature of the torch is that it can be used as an escape tool or for self-defence. The front of the lens assembly has a serrated edge suitable for cutting or digging and on the rear end of the torch is a conical window breaking too. The weight of the torch and the tough metal construction makes it serve as a makeshift hammer or club. The flashlight is not the very brightest I have tried but the 5000 lumens output is more than bright enough for most situations, indoors or out. This is a well-made and heavy duty torch and a good buy for anyone looking for an all-purpose full-sized outdoor flashlight.
