Opening credits of Lucio Fulci's underrated BLACK CAT (1981). A wonderful opening sequence with a roof top "cat walk" highlighted by Pino Donaggio's unique music. Donaggio scored Carrie, Dressed to Kill, Blow Out and many other great films. At least 3 different cats have been used for the opening sequence, and many more throughout the film. Kubrik introduced the first steadycam in his Shining one year earlier, Fulci constructed a cheap homemade "suitcase-cam" for the cat's POV travelling shots! Shot in the outskirts of London and interiors on soundstage in Rome.
