Sadly, tonight Nov 29, 2010, at age 95 Monicelli committed suicide. Probably he couldn't stand growing older and ill in the hospital where he was taken in. Probably he couldn't stand the actual government and politics. Probably he felt lonely without the art and creativity of his time. Goodbye Mario, walk in peace along the chosen path towards your new destination.
