I defeated a Magikarp raid boss by myself, using only Magikarp. I chose six for the battle, but ended up winning with just these four: 1) CP 181, 95.6% IV (15 attack, 13 defense, 15 HP) 2) CP 157, 93.3% IV (15 attack, 13 defense, 14 HP) 3) CP 156, 95.6% IV (13 attack, 15 defense, 15 HP) 4) CP 169, 91.1% IV (12 attack, 14 defense, 15 HP) The key to this battle: for some reason, a Magikarp's charged attack (struggle) can be used at any time, without waiting for a recharge. So I pressed and held to attack, waited for the bar to light up, then let go and did it again. And again. And again. By my count, I got in 181 attacks in the 173 seconds it took to take him down.
