The cut scenes, full motion video finishing moves, and the revamped combos made this game stand toe to toe with the likes of Mortal Kombat 3 and Street Fighter Alpha. Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side (also called Eternal Champions 2) brought brutal fights and fast-paced action that was expected from a fighting game.
