One Immunity Booster Laddu a day is all you require to keep winters at bay. These Immunity Booster Laddu have the goodness of gum that is rich in calcium too and not just fighting cold and cough, it helps in keeping backache and joint pains at bay too.
The dry ginger powder in these Immunity Booster Laddu is proven in keeping away cold and coughs. Similarly, the Mulethi powder in these Immunity Booster Laddu also does the same while the sesame and jaggery in these Immunity Booster Laddu keep the body warm.

Recipe :
Immunity Booster Laddu
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 16-18
Ingredients:
25g Dry Ginger Powder (Saunth)
¼ cup + 1 tbsp Cow Milk Ghee
50g Gond ( Tragacanth Gum)
1tsp Turmeric Powder
1tspBlack Pepper Powder
1 cup Flour
1 cup Jaggery Powder
25g Mulethi Powder (liquorice)
½ cup toasted White Sesame Seeds
Method:
Heat the ghee and fry the gond in hot ghee till it puffs up.
Remove on a plate. Cool and grind to a powder.
In the same ghee, roast the whole wheat flour till it is light golden in colour and fragrant.
Heat 1 tbsp ghee and switch off the flame. Add the dry ginger powder, turmeric powder and black pepper powder and mix well. Mix all the ingredients together and mix well. Make lemon sized laddus of the mixture. If the mixture doesn’t bind easily, add 2 tbsp melted ghee.
As the mixture begins to cool down, microwave the mixture for 30 seconds or warm it up in the pan to be able to bind the laddus easily.
Cool and store in an airtight container.
