Recipe :
Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients:
Brown bread baugette
Chicken Breast
Green Bell Pepper
Red Bell Pepper
Black Pepper
Butter
Onion
Tomatoes
Lettuce
Mayonnaise
Mustard Sauce
Chopped Garlic
Red Chili Flakes
Method:
Butterfly the chicken breast. Slice chicken breast into 2 thin slices. Remove the chicken supreme.
Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, chopped garlic, red chilli flakes, white vinegar
1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp sugar. Rub well over the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Grill the chicken over a grill till well cooked. Remove from grill and keep covered till required.
Cut the flat bread length wise. Place Lettuce leaves on the base. Place the grilled chicken over it. Top with sliced onions and cucumbers. Drizzle mayonnaise over it. Apply some mustard sauce over the other slice of bread and place over the veggies. Use tooth picks to hold the bread in place.
Serve.
Chicken Coleslaw Sandwich
Ingredients:
8 Slices White Sandwich Bread
8 Multigrain Bread Slices
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Red Bell Pepper
Black Pepper to taste
2 tbsp Mayonnaise (more as required)
Mustard Sauce as required
Chili Flakes to taste
Salt to taste
Butter as required
Lettuce leaves
Tomato
Method:
Boil 1 chicken breast in boiling water for 4-5 minutes till cooked inside but not overcooked.
Refresh immediately in cold water to stop the cooking process. Shred the chicken.
Cut the red bell pepper & green bell pepper into juliennes.
In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, pepper juliennes, 1 tbsp mustard sauce, chili flakes to taste, salt, 2 tbsp Mayonnaise and mix well.
Place at least 3 tbsp stuffing between white bread slices. Butter the outsides of the sandwich and grill till well browned.
For Cold Sandwiches, place lettuce leaves on multigrain bread slices, place some chicken slaw over it, top with tomato slices, cucumber slices and onion slices. Cover with another slice of bread and cut into halves to serve.
