Today I share with you how you can make this recipe 2 ways- with & without fresh Methi. Thank you for watching! 💫 And don’t forget to subscribe here: https://goo.gl/mQwVjN **************************************************************************** Recipe : Methi Matar Malai Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: 1 Cup finely chopped Fenugreek Leaves (Methi) 1 Cup Fresh / Frozen Green Peas 2 large Onions 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp Oil ½ tsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Red Chilli powder 2 tsp Dry mango powder 1 tsp Cinnamon powder Salt to taste 1 cup Fresh cream 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi Method: Remove Methi leaves from stems. Wash the leaves well. Boil 1 liter water in a pan. Blanch the methi leaves for 2-3 minutes. Drain out the water and refresh the leaves with cold water. Squeeze out all the excess moisture and chop the methi leaves. Heat oil in a pan. add the cumin seeds. As the seeds splutter, add the finely chopped onions. Sauté the onions till translucent pink. Add the chopped methi leaves and sauté till the methi is fragrant and glossy. Add the ginger garlic paste and mix well. Saute till the ginger garlic losses its raw smell. Add the green peas and salt to taste. Cover and cook till the green peas are tender. Add the red chili powder, cinnamon powder and mix well. Add the cream, ½ cup water and mix well. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add the dry mango powder and then the kasuri methi. Remove from heat and serve hot. . .
