This recipe of Instant Rava Dhokla & Green Chutney is a quick breakfast recipe. Instant Rava Dhokla becomes ‘instant’ thanks to the addition of Eno Fruit salt that acts a raising agent and cuts down on hours of fermentation time. The batter of Instant Rava Dhokla then needs to be steamed for 15 minutes to get a fluffy dhokla ready. To cut down on the time and make the Instant Rava Dhokla even more ‘instant’ we can cook it in the microwave. This way the Instant Rava Dhokla cooks in just 4 minutes! Thank you for watching! 💫 And don’t forget to subscribe here: https://goo.gl/mQwVjN **************************************************************************** Recipe : Instant Rava Dhokla Preparation Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 4 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: Dhokla batter: 2 cups rava 1 cup curd 1 tsp green chilli ginger paste 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 pinch hing 2 cups water 2 tsp eno fruit salt For tempering: 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard ½ tsp cumin 2 whole red chillies 8-10 curry leaves 1 pinch hing 1 cup water 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp lemon juice ¼ cup freshly grated coconut For Green Chutney: 1 cup Green Coriander ¼ cup Mint leaves 2 tbsp Bhuna chana 1 tbsp Amchur 1 tbsp Lemon juice Salt to taste 4-5 Green chilies 1” Ginger 2-3 ice cubes Method: Mix together the rava, green chilli ginger paste, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt and a pinch of hing with 1 cup water. Cover and rest for 5 minutes or until the rava is soaked well. Add 2 tsp eno fruit salt and mix gently till the batter turns frothy. Pour the batter immediately into a grease mould. Place in the steamer and steam for 20 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes clean. Or Microwave at high mode for 3-4 minutes. To prepare the tempering, heat 2 tbsp oil. add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, 2 chilli, few curry leaves and a pinch of hing. Allow to splutter. Add 1 cup water, 1 tsp sugar, ¼ tsp salt and 1 tsp lemon juice. Mix well and get to a boil. pour the tempering over the dhokla. also, top with 2 tbsp coconut and 2 tbsp coriander. For the Chutney: Mix together all the ingredients and add 2-3 cubes of ice. Grind to a smooth paste.
