Add the drained chickpeas and sauté over low to medium heat till crisp. Add the chili powder, seasoning and salt to taste. Mix well. Remove from heat. Add the remaining ingredients and toss. Serve. Aloo Chana Chaat Preparation Time: 10 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: 250g boiled chickpeas 250g boiled potatoes, diced Salt to taste 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp chaat masala 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp minced ginger 1 tbsp minced green chillies 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves Green chutney Tamarind chutney Sweetened yoghurt Sev Pomegranate Method: Mix together the drained chickpeas, potatoes with the salt, powdered spices, chopped ginger, chilies, and lemon juice. Arrange on a plate. Top with yoghurt and chutneys, garnish with coriander, sev and pomegranate and serve. High Protein Chana Chaat Preparation Time: 10 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: 250g boiled kala chana Salt to taste 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp chaat masala 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp minced ginger 1 tbsp minced green chillies 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves Diced cucumbers Diced onions Diced tomatoes ½ cup chopped tinned pineapple ½ cup peanuts 2 tbsp oil 3-4 red chilies 1 tsp mustard seeds 8-10 curry leaves Method: Roast the peanuts. In a bowl, mix together the drained chana, peanuts, chopped vegetables, pineapple, lemon juice, chaat masala, cumin powder, chili powder and toss well. Heat the oil. Add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilies and allow to splutter. Add the tempering to the chaat.
