MatrixAndrAIa's video: Dark Souls 3 part 5 - Road of Sacrifices

This is a nostalgic NG+ playthrough that I did in December 2020. Beginning 0:26 Halfway Fortress 2:39 Crucifixion Woods bonfire 7:55 Path to Orbeck of Vinheim 11:10 Crystal Sage 13:25 I talk about how the world's going to hell in this game, and it is. There's evidence everywhere that things are falling apart, so even linking the fire won't do much good. Just look at the hollows here, all deformed and spindly and unnaturally tall. Why can't Fromsoft make more swamps like this one!? You know, not boring poisonous swamps. This area is actually really nice looking aside from the hollows. Yellowfinger Heysel gets trivialized by my Astora Greatsword R2 pokes, but don't let that fool you - she can do a lot of damage if she two hands her hammer and hits you with it. I learned that lesson the hard way in the game after this one while I was trying to get the Lord of Hollows ending so I could record it. It was a straight NG, so I didn't have all of my gear, and while I beat her, she made me use up all of my Estus. Ouch. The Watchdogs of Farron can start invading you in this area if you're in Ember form, so do take care.
