There are a lot of benefits to living like a 60s van dwelling hippie in 2022, for instance now you can wear clothing that isn’t tie died, the ability to shower regularly is only a gym pass away and of course the weed has gotten so much better. But now with the price of real estate people from all walks of like are considering wheel estate, and so I’ve reconvened with my team of writer to put together the Top 10 Underrated Pros for Vanlife. (In no particular Order) -When your neighbours are having a house party you can just drive away (crash and dash buddy!) -People rarely wanna come over, which is great because I never want to have people overIt’s technically not considered a home so on Hallowe’en children don’t come to trick or treat at my door, so I get to keep all the candy -No rent. Like seriously I haven’t payed rent in so long that when people talk about prices, I have to gage how they’re reacting to contribute to the conversation because I’ve literally no idea what’s considered good or bad -Never before has my ability to parallel park been this unparalleled -I get a laugh by saying I live in a van named Pamela Vanderson. Lot’s a room in the front, little tighter in the back. -I find the creative ways in which over vandwellers have chosen to use their tiny spaces intriguing -I’m a part of a niche community that feels like I’m one of the cool kids -Even though I’m 35, this style of living gives me a Peter Pan syndrome that’s got me spending my time only on things that make me happy -I was getting changed for hockey and realized I forgot my shorts. Good thing running home meant just going outside because I’ve always got my stuff.
