Matty Dread's video: His Grace Bhajahari das prabhu Interview 21 01 2015

Hare Krsna. Dandavat pranams. _/||\_ All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Two year's ago, on the 21st January 2015, I had the pleasure to interview His Grace Bhajahari Das prabhu at his home, which is a five minute drive from Bhaktivedanta manor, where he served as temple president throughout most of the 1970's. I had been pestering Bhaja for along time to give me an interview, and then one day he finally relented and agreed. For those of you who knew Bhajahari prabhu. A.K.A. Bhaja, or Bhaj, as he was affectionately known by his friend's, he needs no introduction. For those of you who didn't known Bhajahari prabhu personally, this interview will give you a tiny glimpse into everything he did for Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON, and continued to do so, up until his very last day's. He was a massive part of the U.K. yatra for forty five year's. Over the period of those year's he made countless devotee's, whilst serving as an inspiration for many more. My only personal regret is that I didn't seize the opportunity to have more of Bhaja prabhus' association. We all know that the disciples' of Srila Prabhupada are getting older. It is indeed a sad fact of life that they will not always be here for us to gleam the nectar of their pastimes with Srila Prabhupada, whether that was by Srila Prabhupadas' Vani or Vapu. We are indeed fortunate enough to have their association. Please make the most of their association, and if you have a video camera, then please endeavour to interview them, so their legacy can remain on celluloid, or these days, multi-media formats, and serve as an inspiration to all devotee's. I know many memories already exist, but you can never have enough transcendental nectar! On Saturday the 11th February 2017, a remembrance evening was held at Bhaktivedanta Manor for Bhajahari prabhu. Many senior devotee's gave their personal remembrance's of their association with him. His son Muki played some song's, and a wonderful feast of sumptuous Krishna prasadam was cooked by His Grace Parasurama das prabhu, in honour of this great Vaisnava, Bhajahari das prabhu. It was a remarkable evening, fitting indeed for such a remarkable personality as was Bhajahari. The entire evening was also filmed by myself, and Gopi Kanta das prabhu, so there'll be another two films on their way to YouTube very soon! I would like to dedicate this video to Bhaja's' dear wife, Ramya Devi Dasi, and to her son's and daughter's. All glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada! Ki Jaya!
