From a short story by Mickey Spillane. He got off the bus in a flyspeck nowhere town. All he wanted was a beer. What he got was mixed up in a bank robbery with some pretty nasty characters. One of the locals (Heather Graham) pegs him as movie star Rich Thurber (Bill Pullman). But the hoods get the looney idea that he's some bigshot local politician, some guy they can push around on their way to a big payoff. But they're wrong. Because he has a few secrets of his own. And these mugs... Well, let's just say that what they don't know about him could just kill 'em. Also starring Dan Hedaya.
