Armin Meiwes es un alemán que se hizo mundialmente conocido por asesinar y comserse, bajo voluntad, a una persona que conoció por internet. Luego de que Meiwes y la victima, conjuntamente, intentaran comerse el pene, Meiwess lo asesino y procedió a comerse una gran cantidad de su carne. Por sus actos, Meiwes es conocido como el Canibal de Rotenburg o Der Metzgermeister (El Maestro Carnicero). Su principal ocupación era técnico reparador de computadoras.
