Mazzaratie Monica's video: Night Nation Run

My FIRST 5k ! I have never done a 5k before so what better way to do one then supporting a great cause? Night Nation Run is a 5k that travels the globe to help support cancer research, (Stand Up to Cancer is their official charity). It also a MUSIC festival! A portion of the entry fee into the event went to help cancer research. This charity and event hit close to home. As myself have had multiple family members affected by cancer. I loved that more than 10,000 people came out to support and have a great time. Music was EDM, pop, and hip hop. the run was at RFK stadium here in Washington DC. It was packed but not over crowded. You defiantly had the space to run, dance and sit around while you listened to the music. From bright neon colors to glow sticks and tutus everywhere I would have to say that everyone enjoyed themselves. It was great and I cant wait to do it again. nightnationrun.com
