You are invited to join us for an exclusive online event in collaboration with RTS North West, BBC North, MediaCityUK and the University of Salford Media Production Team to celebrate the on-going success of BBC one drama The A Word. Much loved BBC One drama The A Word is filmed at locations across Manchester and the Lake District and tells the on- going story of Joe, a boy diagnosed with Autism who sits central to a loving and complicated family. Ahead of the final episode of series three BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty will talk to Salford born actors Christopher Eccleston and Pooky Quesnel along with The A Word’s multi-award winning writer Peter Bowker (The A Word, World on Fire, Marvellous) to discuss how The A Word has evolved from its very first episode and explore the secrets of its ongoing success.
