I really enjoyed creating this side braid with a little rosette braid accent. It can be really frustrating growing out your hair from a short hair cut, but I purchased this halo extension at a hair show and it's been my new best friend ever since! I just pop it on my head, adjust my natural hair over it to blend the extension and then do what ever hairstyle I want that day! Normal I do some kind of braid or updo just because I really miss being able to do big braids and fancy updos. So for this one, I just twisted the side into the back so that my shorter, natural pieces wouldn't come out and then braided the rest, leaving out a small section to go back to. I always like to pull on the sides of my braids so they look bigger and more voluminous. Then, to create a rosette braid, I made a normal 3 strand braid, pulled the sides to make it bigger and then rolled it up to be shaped like a cute little flower! I think this hairstyle is a great compliment to the headband. And I'm honestly thinking about wearing this style for my rehearsal of my own wedding! It makes a great wedding hairstyle!
